This is my last first day of school as an undergraduate, and I couldn't possibly be more pumped! Although I know the excitement will wear off as soon as I get my first homework assignment, for now I'm completely stoked. I have a new laptop, and consequently no dollars, so I'm officially just as poor now as I was my freshman year...as much as we seniors love to think we're superior, we obviously haven't moved up much in the world. I haven't had my first class yet, I've been practicing all morning (except for now when I'm blogging) and I'm having a blast watching all the freshman walk by, walk by again, walk by AGAIN, and then ask me if I know where some room in this building is. Or watching them all crowd around the 3-D map and look around in bewilderment before one of them finally figures it out. It's kind of the same as when you go to a playground to watch the little kids fall...you used to do the same thing when you were their age, you feel kinda bad for them, but you simply can't help laughing. I'll be moving outside soon to see if there's free food in Brigham Square to celebrate 'Welcome Week'.....every year I bum food off the student association during welcome week because all I can afford is a box of Life cereal and a carton of milk. I LOVE free food!!! Here I go, wish me luck in this and all my academic endeavors!
